About the Position
2020 Medical Registrar7 x Positions AvailableFixed Term - Full TimeSalary Range: $112,672 - $155,088 p.a.Opportunities exist for motivated individuals to join Goulburn Valley Health as a Medical Registrar. The Medical Registrar is responsible for providing high level patient centred care under the direction of the attending Physician for the day to day patient management. The Medical Registrar is to develop, consolidate and enhance clinical skills in the provision of high quality patient care and develop collaborative relationships with medical, surgical, anaesthetic, paediatric and psychiatric colleagues and senior staff as well as nursing and other support staff.The Medical Registrar positions are suitable for Basic Physician Trainees and are accredited through the RACP. The successful applicant will have a current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Medical Practitioner or able to apply under the Standard, Competent or Provisional Pathways with at least three years experience in General Medicine, highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate positively with and appropriately with patients and others.
