About the Position

• Attractive starting salary of $56,147 plus Super with an increase when you pass your Probation Period occurring between the first 3 – 6 months
• 3 year maximum-term contract supporting Greater Shepparton City Council
• Full time hours of 38 hours per week
• Operational hours span 8:00am – 4:36pm between Monday – Friday

The Role
DCA Technologies employs over 100 Parking Officers throughout Australia. We are seeking a self-motivated and organised person to support our new On-Street team in the Greater Shepparton City Council to ensure compliance and fair use of parking resources.

As a Parking Officer you will be responsible for:

• Patrolling assigned areas on foot or by motor vehicle
• Issuing parking infringement notices on behalf of the Council
• Record and maintain clear records of enforcement matters
• Providing exceptional customer service to the general public

What we are looking for:

• Strong face-to-face customer service experience
• Flexible availability to work across our required span of hours on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:36pm
• Excellent organisation and time management skills to patrol designated areas
• Strong written skills to create accurate reports to be used as enforcement evidence
• Strong observation skills to make sound enforcement decisions, assess safety risk and to interpret parking regulations
• Full unrestricted Drivers Licence

Pre-employment requirement
