Full-Time Chef 

Rustik Café and Foodstore  

Position Available: 

Full-time Chef required in a busy kitchen at Rustik Café and Foodstore in Benalla Victoria. We are a small-town business that is very passionate about providing high quality products and meals for all different dietary requirements. We would like someone who will also be passionate about providing high quality dietary based meals.

Qualifications / experience:

• The successful applicant must demonstrate experience as a chef in a similar role
• A relevant formal qualification and / or recent work experience is desirable
• Demonstration of a clean and organised working style will be key as will a stable career history

Duties will include:

• Calculation of food and labour costs in conjunction with head chef
• Assist in staff training;
• Maintaining OHS and hygiene standards;
• Assist in quality control of all meals;
• Preparing meals to order

Important skills:

• Skills and experience in a wide range of cookery methods to produce a range of dietary based menu items
• Able to work in a fast-paced busy kitchen environment with a positive attitude

Remuneration:

•   Annual Salary of $54,000 plus Superannuation.
